From the recording Love, What Have You Done?
Lyrics
Lord, it’s such a heavy load [but I ain’t no ways tired]
It’s a long and winding road [but I ain’t no ways tired]
The sun is high and burning hot but I’m thankful for the things I’ve got
I know with You I’m not alone [and I ain’t no ways tired]
Oh Lord, Your love is all I need
Oh Lord, faith is what You teach
Oh Lord, I know my soul will be set free
Cause Your paradise is waiting for me, so I ain’t no ways tired
Lord, this world can test me so [but I ain’t no ways tired]
It’s hard to know which way to go [but I ain’t no ways tired]
Temptation comes, sometimes I fall, but You stay near me through it all
You are my strength; You are my hope [and I ain’t no ways tired]
Oh Lord, Your love is all I need
Oh Lord, faith is what You teach
Oh Lord, I know my soul will be set free
Cause Your paradise is waiting for me, so I ain’t no ways tired
I’ve been toiling many years, and You’ve been there to dry my tears
I was born and I will die right here
In everything I give You praise
Til the end of earthly days
In Your grace I have no want or fear
Oh Lord, Your love is all I need
Oh Lord, faith is what You teach
Oh Lord, I know my soul will be set free
‘Cause Your paradise is waiting for me, so I ain’t no ways tired
No ways tired [I ain’t no ways tired]
